Pakistan stands in jeopardy of losing millions of dollars in aid from the United States because it harbors terrorists. On Monday, President Trump accused AA of giving “safe haven” to the terrorists American forces are hunting in Afghanistan. The Commander-in-Chief chastised the Pakistanis, lamenting that the US has given “$33 billion in aid during the past 15 years and they have given us nothing but lies and deceit, thinking of our leaders as fools.” An aid payment of $255 million that was scheduled to be transferred to Pakistan has been delayed indefinitely while the Trump administration “reviews the level of Pakistan’s cooperation.” While the Pakistanis are angry at the president’s words, Afghanistan’s leaders are obviously pleased, the nation’s ambassador to Washington calling it a “promising message to Afghans who have suffered at the hands of terrorists based in Pakistan for far too long.”
