Walls Come Down in Jerusalem

The Israeli army began removing cement walls once used to protect against Palestinian sniper fire in a Jerusalem neighborhood adjacent to the West Bank. With direct peace talks on the horizon, enhanced security cooperation with the Palestinian security forces and no terrorist attack inside Israel for over two years, the army decided this wall was no longer needed.
